    • 精选优质文档-----倾情为你奉上Unit3 I’m more outgoing than my sister.Section B Period1 (1a—1e)南昌市第三中学 程静Teaching background本课是新目标初中英语的内容,它涉及到学生的生活实际和学习需求,培养学生的语言能力和学习能力倡导“任务型”的教学途径,课本设计了许多具有实际意义的任务和活动,单元教学结构层次分明,落实任务型教学,其最终目的是培养学生听、说、读、写综合运用能力,吸引学生充分参与到课堂活动中来,从而提高学生的英语水平The analysis of the students 本节课主要是针对八年级上学期的学生,要求学生能使用形容词及副词的比较级来形容和比较他人,并能使用相关词组和句型来谈论朋友学生在七年级已经学过许多形容词和副词,能够用英语来描述人和事物但对比较级还是刚接触,能够运用自如依然存在一定困难因此本节课我设计了许多适合他们的任务和活动,激发他们的学习兴趣,使学生充分参与课堂由于学生水平参差不齐,教学过程中我也注意了因材施教,采用分层教学,关注每一位学生的学习过程Teaching aims:1. Knowledge aims(1) Function: Talk about personal traits.(2) Key vocabulary: talented, truly, care, care about, laugh(3) Target language: A good friend is a good listener. A good friend likes to do the same things as me.(4) Structure: Use ‘comparative + than’ to talk about a person’s traits.2. Ability aims(1) To train students’ listening and oral abilities.(2) Master the patterns.(3) Compare people with the comparative forms of adjectives and adverbs.3. Emotional aims(1) Let students know what a true friend is like.(2) Encourage students to discover their friends’ advantages and learn from each other.Teaching key points1. Enable students to learn different listening skills, such as predicting and note-taking.2. Get the students to learn the new words and phrases.3. Use the comparative forms of adjectives and adverbs to describe a person or compare two persons.Teaching difficult pointsTo develop students’ oral ability and enable the students to use the target language to describe others fluently.Teaching Methods1. Talk about the persons’ traits in the pictures. Help students to use the comparative forms of adjectives to describe and compare other people.(设计意图:通过讨论学生熟悉的人物图片,调动学生的积极性,激发表达欲望。

      )Step 2: Presentation and listening practice1. Show some pictures about the topic to the students to lead into the new words and phrases.(设计意图:词汇量的大小直接影响学生对听力材料的理解,利用图片呈现短语,直观生动,教授并纠正单词的发音,降低听力难度,使学生在听时能顺利捕捉信息)2. What are important in a friend? Ask students to express their ideas one by one. They can use the new phrases which they have learnt just now.(设计意图:加深和巩固对新词组的记忆,引出新句型的学习允许学生犯错,表达自己的观点,让更多的学生参与课堂,提高他们学习英语的自信心)3. Group work: Ask students to discuss in groups to talk about what you think a good friend should be like. Then let students show their dialogues after discussion.(设计意图:层层递进,由单词到短语再到句型,引导学生通过小组讨论的方式发现、探究和合作,从而达到提高英语水平的目的,为后面的听力学习做好铺垫。

      4. Listening practice(1) Pre-listeningDesign three questions to students according to the listening material. Let students listen for the first time and answer the questions.(设计意图:自行设计听力任务,帮助学生理清听力对话里的人物关系,降低了听力的难度,为完成精听任务做好准备)(2) While listeningLet students listen for the second time and fill in the first column of the listening chart. Before playing the tape, help students to predict what they will hear later. And remind students to take some notes while they are listening.(设计意图:引导学生预测听力任务,抓住关键词并适当做笔记,无形中加强了对学生听力策略和听力技能的培养。

      )T: While you are listening, you can take some notes. And just please catch the key words, not every word. Let students listen for the third time and fill in the second column of the chart. Design an easier chart for students to choose.T: There are two forms for you. One is on your textbook; the other is on the paper. You can choose one of them to finish. It’s up to you.(设计意图:由于学生的语言能力之间存在一定程度的个体差异,于是设计了一个更为简单的听力表格任务供学生选择,这样有助于使不同水平的学生都能参与到“完成精听”这一教学环节上,让他们都能有机会体验成功的愉悦并使他们都能在各自的能力水平上有所提高,这也符合新课程标准的分层教学。

      3) Post-readingEnable students to follow the tape and read the listening material. Get them pay attention to the pronunciation and the tone.Step 3 Free talkWho is your best friend? Tell us the same things and differences between you and your friend. Should friends be different or the same? Why or why not?Ask students to discuss in groups. And then every group should push one student to give a short speech in front of the class.(设计意图:对听力材料进行延伸和拓展,完成相关话题的自由讨论和小组讨论任务,将听和说有效结合,层层递进,学生在有了充分的语言输入之后实现语言的有效输出。

      整个任务设计体现了紧扣话题,收尾呼应,运用语言及合作学习等方面的要求Step 4 Summary and homeworkPresent the key phrases and the target language again. Help students review what they have learnt in this lesson. Meanwhile, let students know if they want to be popular, they should try to be a better person first. Assign the homework: (1) Make up a dialogue about your friend and you, and then perform it with your partner. (2) Write down an English diary. Talk about your friend and you.(设计意图:帮助学生复习和巩固本节课所学的内容和知识,在听读的基础上进一步加强了对说和写的练习从而达到培养学生的综合语言运用能力的目标。
