 英语听力的重要性学习语言，最重要的莫过于“听”和“说”听懂了，是理解的结果，说出来，是表达的过程曾经有名师说过；Listening comes before speaking，reading and writing．(听力领先于说、读、写三项技能)虽然“说”可以由说话人自己选择词汇和句式，但如何把话说得既正确又得体却非易事较之“说” ， “听”则更难了在与人交际的双向活动中，首先必须听懂别人在讲什么，然后才能根据具体情况做出适宜的答复即便是在看英文影碟、电视节目或听英文讲座这样的活动中，如果听不懂，就无法体会到参与的乐趣从这点上讲， “听”比“说”更重要，也更难对于学习英语的中国学生来说，较之其它技能，听力相对更差一些Listening comprehension is the receptive skill in the oral mode.
