Section A (3a 3c) 银川市第十三中学雷博文2 一、教学内容本课选自人教版新目标八年级（下）第五单元这是一节阅读课，以本一家为主线，运用一般过去时描述其在一场暴风雨当中的经历从整体上看，Section A 首先通过语言输入及对话题的讨论到对词汇、短语等新语言知识的初步呈现，以及运用对话对Section A 所学内容的综合运用，进而过渡到语篇阅读和书面表达的训练，最终将单元所学词汇及语法结构完全融合到阅读和写作交流之中，并结合新出现的语言内容进一步提高语言表达能力二、 学情分析本课教学对象是初二年级学生，经过了初中近两年的学习，他们已经有一定的词汇积累，并具备了基本的阅读理解能力本班学生学习英语兴趣较浓，学习程度相对较好学生在 Section A 前半部分已经基本掌握过去进行时的表达方法，在篇章中理解和运用过去进行时以及描述过去发生的事情是本课的重点，且关于暴风雨的经历学生在实际生活中较为缺乏，因此要在教学中给学生创设出情景，鼓励他们表达三、教学目标：1.知识目标a. 学生能够熟练掌握教材中的“四会”单词、词组：wind, apart, wood, light, flashlights, candles, matches, die down。

b. 学生能够熟悉并正确运用过去进行时2.能力目标a. 学生能够运用过去进行时谈论文本中出现的活动b. 通过阅读训练， 学生能够学会寻找中心句，利用 scanning 和 skimming 的阅读技巧提取语篇的重点信息3.情感目标a. 通过本课的学习，学生能够养成在危难中互帮互助的精神四、 教学重难点1. 教学重点：a. 培养学生在英语阅读中获取信息的能力，提高阅读的效率b. 熟悉并运用过去进行时2. 教学难点：a. 通过阅读训练，培养学生在英语阅读中获取信息的能力，提高阅读的效率b. 培养学生在危难中互助的精神五、教学过程Step 1. Pre-reading 1.Lead-in Students watch a video about a storm in America and answer the questions after the video. Q：What s the weather like? What is the video about? After students answers, the teacher summarizes their answers: It s windy and cloudy. The weather is bad. It s about a storm. Presentation Q: What will a storm bring to us? Students answer the questions with the help of the pictures. There will be a strong wind, and it may break many things apart, there will be no light. 【设计意图】通过视频，设置真实情境，并借助图片引入本课新单词wind, apart, light 。

3 Step 2. Pre-reading 1.Describe the picture. Show the picture in 3a, students look at the picture and describe the picture. Teacher gives some tips, students can describe the picture from the following aspects: the weather cloudy, bad the buildings fall down the rubbish everywhere the windows broken 【设计意图】 通过引导， 让学生根据图片预测文章内容，掌握根据文章图片预测主旨大意的阅读能力2. Make predictions Show the title and the picture of this passage again. Students make predictions about the main idea of the passage according to the picture and the title. Scanning a. Students read the first paragraph and fill in the blanks. Q: What s the weather like? Ben could hear strong winds outside his home in Alabama. Black clouds were making the sky very dark. Post-reading 1.Listen to the tape of this passage and read after it. 2.Retell the story Show the outline, help students to retell the story with the help of the outline. One group retell one paragraph, and choose a representative to retell the paragraph. 3.Discussion Show some pictures of disasters, students answer the following questions: What does the writer want to tell us? What other things can bring people closer together? How can we help each other in times of difficulties? Students write down the ways to help others on the card and put them on the blackboard. 4.Watch a video about helping others, students talk about their feelings. 【设计意图】 通过小组讨论帮助他人的方法并制作卡片展示在黑板上，学生总结文本中心思想，并拓展思维，升华情感目标。

Homework Write a passage about one thing that impress you. 6080 words. 板书设计5 教学反思本节阅读课是八年级下册Unit 5 Section A 的第二课时， 是对 Section A 第一课时所学内容的综合运用，主要内容为语篇阅读和口语表达能力的训练本节课的教学环节分为读前、读中、读后三个大的环节读前通过视频、图片创设情境，从简单基础的问题入手，调动学生的兴趣，同时解决部分新单词，为学生读中环节完成阅读任务降低了难度读中通过不同形式的任务，按照时间顺序对文章细节进行理解，渗透了通过跳读寻找段落主题以及通过细读理解文章细节的阅读策略在策略学习的同时，对语篇内容进行了梳理，完成了新知识的学习读后回顾文章细节，借助提纲引导学生复述文章通过两个问题完成了对本课情感目标的升华整节阅读课设计环环相扣，前面的环节为后续环节做铺垫，层层推进。

存在的问题：1. 对阅读文章中的新词汇学习设计不够到位，缺乏新意；2. 读。
