To begin, double-click on the chapter you wish to explore. Here is the first thing you should see:By clicking once on this screen, you can move on to the Chapter Screen. Each Chapter Screen shows the chapter title at the top and offers several sections from which to choose. 1) By selecting the first section (all the way to the left) you are electing to answer questions from that section. Each section contains five questions of varying degrees of difficulty. Clicking on a section brings you to the next screen which allows you to select the level of difficulty:2) Once you click on the “100” step you will be shown a question of the easiest level.Allow the students time to select an answer (students can use a traditional “scantron” sheet or the new “clicker” technology, in which case the instructor selects the correct answer). Click on book cover3) Click on the book cover in the lower right of your screen to return to the step menu which will allow you to select the next, harder step within that section. When all five steps are complete, you will be returned to the section menu screen and the section just completed will drop away.4) Click on the next section and repeat steps 1 - 3 for all five sections. There are five questions per section (one for each level of difficulty) and five sections per chapter yielding a total of 25 questions per chapter.When the last question of the last section is complete you will see the following screen:5) You can either stop here or click once on this screen to review the questions with the students in the answer section.Clicking once reveals this screen:This screen allows you another opportunity to stop without revealing any answers, or to click again and proceed.The first question will appear again, this time, however, clicking once will highlight the answer. Clicking a second time will move on to the next question.The last slide is a convenient answer key. Additional Method of Use:After displaying the first question in the first section, you may also click the question itself, rather than the book cover, which will bring up the next, harder question in the same section without bringing up the step menu. By proceeding in this manner all twenty five questions will be displayed one after another until all twenty-five are complete and the answer section begins.。
