4页英语九上牛津译林Unit 1 Star signs:新教案(4)9A Unit 1 Vocabulary(教案)一、 教学目标1、用形容词描述性格2、辨别形容词是褒义还是贬义二、 教学内容1 、词汇:unfair inactive explain2 、词组:all kinds of different ideas dance for two hours show off3 、句型:Mr. Wu spends a lot of time explaining things to us.三、 教学重点与难点:掌握并使用描述人物性格的形容词以及它们的反义词四、 教学准备 1 、多媒体或者投影仪2 、教学卡片五、 教学步骤(一)检查预习题(同学案中的预习题)(5分钟左右)1. 写出描述人的性格的形容词(至少十个) 2 单词释义配对: (1) inactive _____________ a to show, tell, etc. what sth. means (2) unfair ______________ b not active, idle (3) explain ______________ c not just ,reasonable or honest(二) 导入(温故知新引入新课)(10分钟左右)1、 教师根据Reading部分的内容进行提问:What kind of person is he /she?帮助学生用Reading部分练习内容回答,注意使用正确的表示性格的形容词,如:(1) He has lots of energy. (an energetic person)(2) she is friendly and loves to meet people.(an outgoing person)(3) He feels sure about his own ability. (a confident person)(4) She cares only about herself. (a selfish person)(5) He does not get angry easily. (an easy-going person)(6) She treats everyone equally. (a fair person)(7) He can wait without getting angry. (a patient person)(8) She wants to know about everything. (a curious person)2 、四人一组进行讨论:What kind of person do you like best? Why? 鼓励学生大胆说出自己的想法。

A: Why?B: He/She does not get angry easily.(三)呈现1、 利用教材知识结构循序渐进的关系,复习Reading基础上引出新知识,可以用多媒体呈现下面一段内容让学生找出四对反义词My cousin is very generous. He dislikes selfish people. He sports a lot, and he looks very strong. He is weak in History and thinks it is very difficult. His favourite subject is English. He has a good memory, so it is easy for him to remember the English words quickly. However when it comes to History, he seems to have a bad memory, and it is hard for him to remember those facts.(generous --- selfish; strong---weak; difficult/hard---easy; good---bad)2、 教师领读第12页A部分方框内的形容词,并检查学生是否理解,为学生提供他们不太熟悉的单词的定义或描述性文字。

3、 全班核对答案,学生大声朗读完整的句子4、 重点句型分析:spend 表示“花(时间);度过”,作此意讲时常可用于以下二个结构中:(1) spend +钱+on+名词;spend+钱+on/in(in可省略) +动名词(2)spend +时间+on+名词;spend+时间+(in)+动名词 对spend, cost, pay和take 表示花费稍加辨析,spend当“花费”讲时,是指“花费”时间、精力、财力等在某事或某事物上,主语是人cost主要指花费金钱、劳力、精力等,不用人作主语,可带双宾语pay当“花费”讲时,是指为买到或得到的东西付钱主语是人,常和介词for搭配Take当“花费”讲时,多指需要“花费”时间、精力主语可以是名词或动名词,常用it作形式主语,不定式短语作真实主语,构成句型:It takes (sb.) some time to do sth.经典考题————课堂跟踪练习【见学案中的当堂训练题(一)】5 、给学生一篇短文,要求他们根据上下文意思,用括号内所给形容词的反义词填空,使句意和语意完整见学案中的当堂训练题(二)】(五)活动1、 课前准备好一些卡片,每张写有一个形容词,大部分的形容词互为反义词,其余几张卡片则不是。
将卡片每人一张发给学生请一个学生读出卡片上的词,手上拿着该词反义词卡片的学生就站起来读出反义词以此类推,最后找不到反义词卡片的学生到黑板上写出卡片上单词的反义词2 、 俩人一组,描述自己喜欢同伴的哪三种性格,如:I like my partner Meimei because he is patient ,strong and hard-working.提醒学生使用褒义形容词做完后,让学生轮流站起来说出自己同伴三种好的性格六)、当堂检测题(见学案)(约需10分钟)。
