At the same time, the key problem is pointed out which need to be solved in the process from material public transport network to the abstract of the topology model. On the analysis of the material public transport network, the bus stations\’ distribution and how to abstract it with reasonable methods and principles are researched. Finally, the modeling project is proposed which from material public transport network to the abstract of the topology model and the relevant definition of the topology model.In research on the optimum route algorithm, two goals of the optimum route model are proposed which are the least transfer times and the shortest travel time, and two solution algorithms are brought forward which are based on two solution models. Finally, the public transport random route\’s GERT algorithm is discussed when the travel fare is relevant with the travel time and the distance, which can provide the parameter for the passengers to select the travel route.In the aspect of implementing the GIS, the dynamic segmentation technology is researched in the first place. It is a new technology about managing linear factor, which has been realized in ARC/INFO. It can analyze the linear characteristic and display it. It also can plot and resolve the expression problem of several attributes\’ geography element. Some methods on how to realize the dynamic segmentation in MapXtreme are discussed and apply to the analysis of public transport network. Finally, an overall scheme of “information inquiry system of urban public transport” is brought forward, and some modules according to the real data have been obtained. 。
