Step2 Warming-up•Let the students look at a flash and give them some questions.•目的：选择学生喜欢的动画，激发他们的学习兴趣，活跃课堂气氛，并为本课任务的开展做热身准备Step 3 Presentation•Use the pictures of Liu Xiang whom the students know to introduce the target language “When was he born?”•目的：由学生熟悉的人物但是不了解的信息引出目标语言，学生有交流的动机和兴趣Step4 Guessing game •Show some pictures of famous people and the year they were born quickly.Ask students to practice the sentence “sb.was born in… .”•目的：在游戏中操练、巩固句型，使学生在信息输入与输出过程中充满竞争意识Step5 Listeing •Listen and write the year the sports star was born.•目的：通过练习提高学生的听力能力，和对目标语言的进一步巩固。

Step6 Pairwork•Give the students some pictures of star files.Let them ask and answer questions in pairs.At last,the teacher ask a question use“How long”.•目的：利用学生熟悉的名人操练目标语言，学生比较感兴趣，从而达到熟悉利用句型的目的最后由教师引出“How long”这一句型Step7 Listening and practice Ask the students listen and fill in the chart.Listen again and repeat.
