(同义句)He ________ ________ a teacher.二、 单词用法:1.grow up 长大 成长 eg : I’m going to be a teacher, when I grow up.grow作为动词,有“生长,成长”之意,指动植物的生长,成长情况。

      grow由构成的短语还有grow into,表示“成长为…..”.2. computer programmer 计算机管理员 这里的programmer是由program节目,程序加后缀-er而构成的3.cook [kuk]n.厨师,可数名词eg; My father is a cook.v.烹饪 cook the dinnercooker n. 厨具4.doctor ['dɒktə(r)]医生 nurse 护士5.engineer [endʒɪ'nɪr] n. 工程师 an engineer 6. violinist [ˌvaɪə'lɪnɪst] n.小提琴手 violin n.小提琴 play the violin7. driver ['draivə] n. 司机 drive v.驾驶8.pilot ['paɪlət] n. 飞行员 .9.pianist ['pɪənɪst] n. 钢琴家 piano n. 钢琴10.scientist['saɪəntɪst] n.科学家 science n.自然科学注解:动词、名词+er,or,ist,ian,man,woman变成相对应的职业名词。

      eg; 1). +er teach----teacher, drive----driver, play---- player 2).+or act----actor, visit----visitor 3).+ist piano----pianist, violin----violinist, science----sciencist 4).+ress wait----waitress, act----actress 5).+ian music----musician 6).+man police----policeman, post----postman 7).+woman police----policewoman三、 自主学习通过自学能写出下列有关职业名词:程序师___________工程师____________飞行员_____________教师___________演员__________篮球运动员__________________电脑程序员___________钢琴家__________科学家__________驾驶员___________小提琴手__________计算机程序_____________________短语:学习计算机科学_________________________每天练习篮球__________________努力学习数学___________________学习表演课程__________________________长大________________________ 想成为_________________________四、 合作学习Ⅰ. Lead-in 1. 介绍自己小时候想要从事的职业,由此归纳出以前所学过的一些职业的英语表达方式: teacher, nurse, doctor, basketball player, scientist, actor, actress… 2. 询问学生们想要从事的职业,从而引出句型:─ What do you want to be when you grow up? ─ I want to be a basketball player. 3.引导学生们进行问答自己将来所喜欢的职业。

      Ⅱ. Presentation1. 播放幻灯片,展示一些职业的图片,来引导学生们学习一些新的职业名词: computer programmer, cook, engineer, violinist, pianist, pilot…2. 让学生们看大屏幕来学习记忆这些生词3. Tell Ss to rank them [1-12]. 1 is most interesting, 12 is least interesting. III. Listening 1. T: Tell Ss to read the words of jobs in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the words and sentences. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. 4. Play the recording again. Ss listen and match the jobs with activities. 5. Show the answers on the big screen. 6. Let Ss read the model with a partner. 7. Use the information in 1b. Ask and answer with a partner. 8. Let some pairs ask and answer about the chart. IV. Listening Work on 2a,2b : 1. Let Ss look at the pictures below. Explain the activities in the pictures if necessary. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check (√) the correct boxes in the picture. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers.V. Pair work 1. Tell Ss to ask and answer about Cheng Han’s plans using the information in 2b. 2. Ss work in pairs. Try to ask and answer about Cheng Han’s plans. 五、 知识要点:(一)1b知识要点:1.take acting lesson 上表演课2.practice basketball every day 每天练习篮球practice doing sth. 练习做某事(二)1c知识要点:1. when you grow up 当你长大以后考向一:when意为“当……时”,此处主句和从句都表示将来,但从句多用现在时表示将来,即“主将从现”原则。
