Welcome you all!!Then，let’s begin from the non-English major group.In modern society, men and women also have their own pressure, but who suffer more? Now, let’s begin a debating topic that in the modern world, men and women who would face greater pressure in life. And before listening their views, let me introduce the teams of the non-English major group.Sitting on my right side is the affirmative side, and we have the first debater ( ), the second debater ( ), the third debater ( ), the forth debater ( ).They are from Chemical and Environmental Engineering College. They hold the view that in the modern world, women face greater pressure than men in life And sitting on my left side is the negative side, we have the first debater( ), the second debater( ), the third debater ( ), the forth debater( ). They are from Tourism and Geographic College. They hold the view that in the modern world, men face greater pressure than women in life. Now, I would like to clarify several rules for you. Our debate will be divided into 6 parts. 1.The first part, giving opening statement. Each team has 3 minutes to give their opening statement. At the final 30 seconds, you’ll hear a ring, then at the end of the 3 minutes, you’ll hear double rings, then you must stop speaking. (1辩陈词)2.The second section, the argumentation supplement. In this section, each team’s second debater has 2 minutes to amplify. Also, in the final 30 seconds you’ll hear the ring; when time’s over, you’ll hear double rings and you must stop speaking. （正反方二辩立论补充 各2min）3.The third section, the question & answer session. In this section, each team’s second debater has 1 minute to put questions to the opposite side. In this section, each team’s third debater has 3 minutes to amplify. In this part, each team has 5 minutes to debate against the other side.
