5页The foreign culture invasionThe reformation and opening up of our country has been going thirty-four years. During these years, our country’s economy has developed a lot. At the same time, the national culture has also had a great change. But the change of culture realm has a more profound influence upon the nation and the race. In the past years, more and more foreign cultural products entered the market of china. While many people understand and accept the foreign life styles, they are also influenced by other countries’ values of behavior imperceptibly. From here, we do have to consider the culture invasion of other countries, especially western countries, which hides in the self-moving and business of culture market. One country or one race conquers another country or another race by the way of culture reformation or thought reformation, which is so-called culture invasion. Culture is one of the most important foundations that support social stability, and it is also one of the most important parts of one nation’s national strength. A strong culture can raise a nation’s safety degree, and the international exchange of culture can offer a good international safe environment for a country. The glorious and glittering Chinese civilizations have a long history, although some compositions among them have been of no use, at least these civilizations experienced the baptism and discipline of the long years, which have an important function on the development and strength of Chinese nation. But nowadays, culture invasion has different ways and different characters, whose influence is profound to China. The Japanese cartoon Doraemon is widely known in our country, and it has a conversation that said 〞The war is originally without the distinction between the justice and the non-justice, and it is just that people add the distinction to the war. 〞 This not only reflects the Japanese right-wing-personages have still not examined themselves the crime of World War Ⅱ thoroughly, but also makes the idea like this get a dissemination through an imperceptible way, which has a huge negative effect on people, especially the teenagers. From the 90’s, the Chinese are very interested in foreign festivals suddenly. On the one hand, foreign festivals, such as Valentine’s Day, Fools’ Day, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, Mother’s Day, etc., are very interesting year by year; On the other hand, Chinese festivals, such as cold food stanza, Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, the seventh night of the seventh moon stanza, Double Ninth Festival, etc., are being forgotten by Chinese gradually. As to festival invasion, the Chinese accept it gradually, even approbate it completely with no selectivity. People, especially young ones, think the foreign festivals are more fun. But in fact, behind the interest, they are accepting foreign cultures.Near our lives, you will discover ideas are changing gradually. Our kids need Mickey Mouse and Thinuby of Disney compare; Our old men need cause extreme worry and distress just to care the kids who are studying abroad or the kids of having done a part-time job overseas; The periodicals that we pay attention to are the weekly magazine named Ages and the magazine of the USA named Wealth; Our students like to read the magazines like Reader, Youth selected essays, etc., which are from the western publications; We open XO in the westernized bar and drink the wine of France in the restaurant; The leisured life in our minds is to play golf on the green turf-grass with our feet dressed in a pair of shoes named Nike or Adidas; Our economic lives are already conquered completely by the ball skills of NBA players and the fists of TaiSen; We hope to see more movies like Titanic, which gives us the feeling that romantic but sad; We still expect to be an MBA in the Harvard University, and to achieve this goal, we try our best to speak English more fluently than Chinese. …So we cannot help but want to ask: Isn’t it the hegemony? And it is even the hegemony that is unseen and has more power of kill than the USA’s invisible bomber. …Why we would just finish sticking the slogans of refusing the McDonald’s to turn round to eat Kentucky? …Why we would raise English names to appeal online that to resist foreign cultures’ invasion? …Our public culture has been added many new contents during the past years, such as jeans, McDonald’s, Barbie doll, rock and roll music and Hollywood movies, etc.. We young generation no longer to concern about the ping-pong game only, but to concern more about the baseball game, the American rugby game, the World Cup and the NBA… Culture invasion has already appeared nearby our lives, and it is more terrible than the guided missile. It can even be a soft knife to us.Facing the excellent cultural traditions of international community, we cannot live in isolation, but to study, take and draw lessons with purpose. We must also highly watch out for the erosions of western cultu。
