摘要从关联理论视角看电影字幕翻译《阿甘正传》的个案分析张鑫．’作为一种跨文化语言交际模式，电影字幕翻译已成为相关领域研究的热点问题，因此无论从翻译实践还是跨文化交流的角度来深层次探讨电影字幕及其翻译显得格外必要本文即以关联理论为基础分析了英文影片《阿甘正传》的字幕汉译关联理论旨在强调交际活动中意图的传达与理解及其推理，因此译文应将原文的意图应该尽可能地被传达给交际对象，并且使交际对象处理和理解信息的努力应该尽可能地最小字幕翻译过程中，译者首先与原作者达成心理和认知上的共识，把握原文的意图和相关信息：接着，译者必须考虑到译入语观众的认知能力和期待，基于对两种语言使用情况的熟练掌握，以及对语言文化特殊性的深入理解，根据字幕翻译的特点，采取恰当的翻译策略，灵活传达信息，以取得翻译字幕的最佳关联性和实现充分的语境效果最后译入语观众通过字幕，用最小的努力来充分理解和欣赏电影本文试图以S p e r b e r 和W ii s o n 的关联理论以及G u t t 的语用翻译理论为指导，指明、论证并例举说明英文电影《阿甘J 下传》字幕翻译所采取的减译，明示以及归化的翻译策略，以求为电影字幕翻译实践提供理论和方法上的参考。
