Examples of developments in my chosen charactersAnne Shirley:Time flies,she grows out of immaturity and becomes sensible(p346).She applies herself to study in order to live up to Manila and Matthew Cuthbert's expectation(p229,p288).The increasing fierce long-standing competition between Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe (p276,p285 ,p295)eventually leads to a win-win outcome that they are both admitted by Queen's Academy and then obtain their licence in one year instead of the usual two(p324).However,Matthew Cuthbert dies of a heart attack and Marilla is likely to lost her eyesight soon。
