LDCI5310 ACS 2000 AD 7/72 Faults Panel Text AMC: Fault Class 1 Description Class 1 Fault detected in motor control software. Fault reaction is pulse removal (stop motor), opening of MCB and discharging of DC-link Causes Reasons for Class 1 Faults are mainly faults concerning DC-circuit e.g. DC overvoltage and NP- overvoltage. Rectification Check for other related faults in the fault buffer. Each faults results in two records in fault buffer: fault class (this one) and fault message (other fault texts in this file) FaultClass INU FC1 FaultClass ARU Not Appl Fault Word 183.32: FW Generic Faults Bit B0 Related Parameters Related IO Panel Text AMC: Fault Class 2 Description Class 2 Fault detected in motor control software. Fault reaction is pulse removal (stop motor), if drive was already energized MCB stays closed and DC-link charged Causes Reasons for Class 2 Faults are mainly faults that do not concern the DC circuit e.g. overspeed, overcurrent, speed measurements Rectification Check for other related faults in the fault buffer. Each faults results in two records in fault buffer: fault class (this one) and fault message (other fault texts in this file) FaultClass INU FC2 FaultClass ARU Not Appl Fault Word 183.32: FW Generic Faults Bit B1 Related Parameters Related IO Panel Text Autorestart Loop Description Trips the drive if the maximum number of auto-restart attempts is exceeded. Causes - Wrong parameter setting . - Depends on the fault that started the auto-restart sequence. Rectification - Check parameter. FaultClass INU FC2 FaultClass ARU Fault Word 183.33: FW1 Generic Faults Bit B1 Related Parameters Related IO Panel Text Autorestart Timeout Description Trips the drive if an auto-restart sequence takes too long. Causes - Wrong parameter setting . - Depends on the fault that started the auto-restart sequence. Rectification - Check parameter. FaultClass INU FC2 FaultClass ARU Fault Word 183.33: FW1 Generic Faults Bit B0 Related Parameters Related IO Troubleshooting manual ? 8/72 Version LDCI5310 Troubleshooting manual Panel Text CBU Short Circuit Description Short circuit in DC link. Causes A short circuit has been detected in the DC link with MCB in status CLOSED. Rectification - Check MCB status. - Contact ABB Service organisation. FaultClass INU FC1 FT FaultClass ARU Fault Word 183.20: FW Short Circuit Bit B0 Related Parameters Related IO Panel Text CROWBAR FAULT Description When fire through happens, crowbar thyristors are not switched on. DC link voltage is not decreasing, or it is decreasing too slowly. Causes - Wrong connection of optical fire through link. - Defective crowbar drive. - Defective crowbar thyristors. Rectification - Check optical fire through link. - Check crowbar drive. - Check crowbar thyristors. - Contact ABB service organization. FaultClass INU FC1 FaultClass ARU Fault Word 183.41: FW2 Other Bit B3 Related Parameters Related IO Panel Text DC OV StatPhaseTest Description DC overvoltage during static phase test. Causes Supply voltage of DC link is too high. Rectification Decrease supply voltage below trip limit. FaultClass INU FC2 FaultClass ARU Fault Word 183.42: FW3 DC LinkVolt Bit B9 Related Parameters Related IO Panel Text DC Overvoltage Description One of the half DC link voltages exceeds the trip level. Causes - ARU fault. - Internal parameter settings. - Defective circuit board. - Communication faulty. Rectification - Check ARU faults. - Check for other related faults. FaultClass INU FC2 FaultClass ARU Fault Word 183.12: FW DC LinkVolt Bit B0 Related Parameters Related IO Panel Text DC OvervoltageMCB Description One of the half DC link voltages exceeds the fault class 1 trip level. Causes - mains supply voltage high . - parameter settings. - defective circuit board. - communication disturbed. Rectification - check supply voltage. - check parameter 186.04. FaultClas
