Talk about the weather and the teacher’s feelings: What’s the weather like today? How do you feel about the weather?2. Being a teacher makes me happy. But sometimes it makes me angry and unhappy.3. Ask the students : How does it make you feel when you win first place?How does it make you feel when you speak in front of a group of people?How does it make you feel when you listen to rock music?How does it make you feel when you fail a test?How does it make you feel when you see someone off? 【设计意图】通过展示能表达情绪的图片,引导学生观察图片,体验和复习与feeling有关的词汇,起到温故而知新,同时为下步新授课做铺垫.Step 2 Free talk: 1. Ask: What can make you happy? 2. Use three pictures to talk about the happiness.【设计意图】根据三幅图画,引导学生说出对幸福的看法,既介绍和复习了主要词汇,也为听力做好铺垫,让学生做到心中有数,有备而听。

Read Paragraph 5 and answer the questions: Why does fame not make the singer happy?【设计意图】:分段细读文章,提取细节信息,关注内容的理解。
