But services of reimbursement, student charges, wages managem

Because of the imperfect information system of financial management in colleges and universities, the application of computer is still limited as the substitute for manual accounting to record daily data and generate report forms, which is still far from handling decisions, manipulation and analysis by information financial management. Therefore, improving the function of financial management system in colleges and universities to achieve intelligent financia

5、l management is currently an important issue.2.Analysis on financial management system in Guangxi colleges and universities2.1. Processing procedure of financial department in Guangxi colleges and universitiesThe first of all in traditional financial accounting is collecting original data, which will be the accounting basis for the staff. Auditing data is the next process, which is important in traditional financial accounting. Under the traditional financial management system, typing informatio

6、n of reimbursement is very complicated. Especially for those who provide huge amount of bills, they have to wait long because the staffs have to spend almost all their time on checking bills and reimbursement numbers, which leads to complaints. Moreover, heavy data typing works require massive human and material resources, which is a waste.2.2. Present situation of financial management system in Guangxi colleges and universities2.2.1. Existing problems in the application of financial softwareThe

7、 application of financial software in China is relatively late. Computer financial management in Guangxi colleges and universities is just introduced in recent years. With the update of computer software, the market is filled with all kinds of financial software, but so far none of them is perfect. This leads to the problem existing in using financial software that accounting method cannot be integrated into the program. In order to solve this problem, some software companies proposed the improv

8、ement that allocating different functions into separated modules for customs to choose. Although the problem is solved, the method is not user friendly, and the financial software itself lacks uniformity with the entirety.2.2.2. Inadaptability of the current data structure to the developing managementWith the further development of higher education, management levels in colleges and universities are more and more specified, especially for financial management. Therefore, higher requirements are

9、proposed to the development space of financial data in the future. Currently, most of the financial software used in Chinas colleges and universities can only handle one dimensional or two dimensional data structure. Multi-dimensional data space is beyond their capability, indicating the inadaptability of the current software to the developing management.2.2.3. Backward training program and lacking expertsWith the information technology, strict requirements of financial management on staffs qualities and skills are proposed. The existing training programs are only for basic understanding without including advanced operating skills. Therefore after computer training, most of the accountants performances are still unsatisfying.2.3.
