It aims to provide these addressees with information on the procurement process concerning projects financed by African Development Bank Group loan and grants in regional member countries during 2009. The data used in the preparation of this report was taken from the SAP-PMS1 (Project Management System), a database updated by the Operations Departments as the contracts are approved. The data was extracted from the system in April 2010 when a number of contracts approved and signed in 2009, had not yet been entered into the system. Indeed, the data entered for a given period evolves over time as updated by the Task Managers. 1 SAP is the information system used by the Bank since 2001.
