This lesson includes two parts:Story time and Fun timer.In section one ,It mainly deals with some words :chicken 、duck.In section two,It mainly deals with sentences:Whatre these/those?Theyre. The plural and individual forms of the noun words.Teaching aims:1、Aims on the knowledge(1)to enable students know how to use :Whatre these/those?Theyre.(2)To speak and know the words:the plural and individual forms of cow、pig、chicken、pear、apple 、orange.(3)The voice of an in a word2、Aims on the abilities(1)To develop Ss abilities of listening and speaking(2)To train the Ss ability of working in groups(3)To foster Ss abilities of communication and their innovation3、Aims on the emotion(1)To foster Ss consciousness of good-operation and proper competition (2)To lead Ss to show their loveliness to the timeKey points of this lesson(1)To help Ss ask and answer:Whatre these/those?Theyre.(2)To enable Ss learn the plural and individual forms of the words Difficult points(1)the judgement of these and those(2)The use plural and individual forms of the words Teaching procedures and purposes of my designingIll finish this lesson in four stepsStep1.Warm-up and preview(1)Free talk between T and Ss like ask about Chienese name and English name or some daily greetings .Some easy questions will help Ss more confident and proud.Purpose:It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by saying a rhyme and doing some total physical response and at the same time it provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next step.(2)I will say:”last lesson ,we learnt the story time of unit7.Can you tell me where are LiuTao and Mike . This is to review the word:farm. Then ask :“What can LiuTao see on the farm ” to review the words of pig、cow、pear、apple.Step2.Presentation Now Ill mainly talk about this step1、Present the pattern:to let Ss learn new words deeply and vividly,I will show them by cartoons(1)I will show them the voices of the animals and let them guess ,they will ve very excited and can remember the words deeply.(2)To teach the orange ,I will let them watch carefully ,then an orange will be passing quickly.Later I will also emphasis the pronunciation of an with orange.Later mix up with the learning of the plural form.Step3、Practise (1)I will teach Ss a chant written by myself ,it mixes up with the new words ,and when they got it ,I will let them speed up .The chant is:farm farm on the farm,lets go to grandpas farm ,one two three four, chickens ducks on the farm ,five six seven eight,pears apples hit my head ,nine ten nine ten ,pigs pigs oink again.This part will active the emotion and on the other side ,it help to review some knowledge learned before.(2)In advance,I will prepare a picture of snack bar drawn by myself,there are some eggs、pencils、cakes、ice-creams and so on on it.First I will ask some of them ,later I will let them work with their deskmates come to the blackboard,ask and answer by the sentences.I will give them some othe objects to add on the picture.This part is to train the use of the plural and individual forms and the use of sentences:whats this ?whatre these?Theyre.Step4、Consolidation(1)There are some pictures and questions of page49 ,first I will make them on the computer to ask Ss to answer,later ler them open their books to finish it and then check the answer.I make this twice is to help them practise and consolidate at the same time.(2)Sing a song together:on the farm .I will change the lyrics and sing again ,like change the pig into duck.(3)I will ask them to write todays new words and learn the chant .This is the extension .Blackboard design
