Task 1 Teacher Good quality of a teacher: A good teacher is an effective communicator, however, who knows when she needs to change her communicating techniques to be sure students can grasp instructional concepts. A good teacher would show her ability when her students are making mistakes, she would let them know why they are wrong and how they are going to do to correct them, rather than simply punish them. For most students, a good teacher is also a helper who can lift them to new heights, no matter in the academic area or in the aspect of how to be a man. A teacher that influence my life mostly The teacher I admire most is my university professor who named Sergey because the reason that he is friendly, knowledge, and most of all, an important helper for my career. First of all, he is a history teacher and very knowledge about what he teaches. He has published a large amount of books and articles and he is an eminent expert on Sino-Soviet relationships during cold war. What is more, he is a helper who can lift me to new heights, no matter in the academic area or in the aspect of my own career development. He has given me a lot advice for my post graduation studies and academic essays. The teacher I respect most is one of my junior high school teachers and he is also the teacher in charge of the class. He is not good at communicating but very strict with us especially when we are facing the entrance examination for high school. He wants us all to achieve a good result. Furthermore, he is such a talented person who not only has great achievement in his work, but also can play guitar for the whole class. Last, he is a helper who can lift me to new heights especially for my life. At that time, my teacher was strict with me and had a great expectation with me. He helped me a lot with my entrance examination later. Family Mother My mother is the person, whom I like most due to her so many good personalities such as talented, clean and most of all, her spirit of dedication. First of all, she is such a talented person who not only has great achievements in her work, but also learns new knowledge and techniques very quickly. Furthermore, she is a very clean people and industriously cleans the place where she lives and works. And the most beautiful thing about her is that she has a beautiful mind and a warm heart. She not only dedicates a large amount of her time and spirit for me but also saves the money for the people who may need them. FatherMy father is the person, whom I admire most due to his so many good personalities such as knowledgeable, persevering and most of all aspiring. To begin with, he is a businessman and also a knowledgeable person and I like to listen to his stories very much when I was little. Furthermore, he is also a persevering people, the reason why I say this is that he always insists on his goal of business even though it is very tough at beginning. Lastly, the most beautiful thing of my father is that he is aspiring and always keeps in mind his ambition to study in university when he is retired. What makes a good student? A good student should have the following characteristics. Firstly, a good student should be hard-working so that he or she could acquire knowledge and make progress. Secondly, a good student should be a passionate participant and eager to learn. Only those who prepare to learn something can raise constructive questions and give insightful input during class discussion. Third, a good student should be willing cooperate with his or her classmate for the reason that group work to some extent is much more efficient than individual work.Favorite movie The movie that has influenced my thought most is The Shawshank Redemption. The first thing I learned from that movie is the faith which is an important factor behind the successful redemption of Andy who is the protagonist of the movie. By seeing the story of Andy I know the significant to insist on what you believe and what you dream about. For me, it is just an important encouragement to continue my way to study what I like. Secondly, the question about freedom in that movie is also giving me a deep thought about myself even the institution of our society. Favorite sports My favorite sports should be roller skating even though I dont have such much cool skills. The reason why I love it is as follow. First of all, I do not only keep fit or keep healthy through roller skating but also make many friends who have the similar interest. That is also the reason why I attend the roller skating society in my university. Furthermore, roller skating is not an easy activity and needs a lot skills. Even though I dont know much professional skills, I strengthen my body and spirit by practicing it.
